This little project was made by image transfer. It was a gift for my office Secret Santa. Our administrator gave us 5 questions to answer so that our Santas would have clues about what we like, etc. One of the questions was “If you could listen to only one album for the rest of your life, what would it be?” The person I was a Santa for is a huge fan of the band Rise Against; and the album they would listen to for life is ‘Revolutions per Minute’ – which is also the title of this piece. I downloaded an image of the album art and used Photoshop to get rid of everything in the background, then worked in another image of concert tickets. Once the print was completed I mod-podge’d it to a 6x6x2″ panel – that way the it can either be hung on a wall or displayed on a shelf. I think I was more excited to to give this than I was for what my Santa got me!
