Meet our canine creative directors, Lucy, and her daughter Zooey.

We adopted these crazy chicken nuggets in late 2023.  Prior to adoption, they had been found huddled together on the side of a freeway ramp. A Good Samaritan(s) was able to get them off the road and safely to a rescue, where efforts were made to track down an owner.  Sadly,  no one came forward. At the time of adoption, Lucy was estimated by be 2 years old, and Zooey 5 months – still a growing (and rambunctious) puppy! Little did we know what a ride we were in for!

Lucy is a stout, stubborn little tank on legs, and also very loving and playful. She decides if and when she will do what she’s told, but is easily bribed with treats.Zooey is dainty and despite being a few inches taller, we refer to her as the baby or tiny one. She is always happy, hyper and zany. She will be young at heart to the very end. There is a saying that when you have 2 dogs, one is always an “old soul” and the other a crackhead. Zooey is definitely the crackhead!

Since they are young, and we are not as young, we want to take them on as many adventures as possible. We are lucky that they travel well and enjoy car rides.  They behave well in new surroundings, and make themselves at home quickly on our travels. Whether we are on the beach, exploring forests, or simply going to a park, they are happiest when we are all together!
