Best thing that happened in my world this week:
Today is Valentine’s Day – which means Alex and I celebrate with our annual tradition of Meat, Mac, Mike & Merlot. Every year on this day we grill a steak served with mac & cheese on the side, and a glass of merlot. Viewing entertainment is courtesy of Michael Bolton’s Big Sexy Valentine’s Day Special on Netflix. A Forgotten Pinhole Camera Made from a Beer Can Captures the Longest Exposure Photograph Ever

Featuring 2,953 light trails of the sun’s movement, the image is thought to be the longest exposure photograph in existence, surpassing Michael Wesely’s record of four years eight months.

I’m a mixed media artist from Melbourne, Australia, who rediscovered her passion for all things creative only a couple of years ago.
For the last twenty five years, I have been working as a teacher and more recently as a Deputy Principal in a beautiful primary school. Education has always been a very important part of my life. I just love encouraging curiosity and the pursuit of what makes us feel alive. I’m living proof that it’s never too late to learn something new, that art and being creative is something we can learn, like any other skill.
